Hey, I’m Emily — the heart and hands behind Blooming Moments Photography! I grew up in Dallas, Georgia, and later moved to Ashland, Kentucky, where I discovered my passion for capturing life’s sweetest moments and turning them into lasting memories.

I’ve loved the art of photography for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I’d watch my mom take pictures on family vacations, and I’d always end up stealing her camera to snap a few of my own. That’s where it all began — just a kid trying to capture the little moments that felt too special to forget. Over time, that small spark grew into a lifelong passion for storytelling through my lens.

Now, I get to do what I love every single day — capturing love stories, laughter, and all the beautiful in-between moments that make life so special. Whether it’s a wedding, engagement, or family session, I want your photos to feel real, warm, and full of life — the kind you look back on and instantly remember how it felt.

When I’m not out shooting, you can usually find me chasing golden hour, sipping an iced coffee, or spending time with my fiancé and our little girl. And if I’m home, let’s be honest — I’m probably editing, completely lost in bringing those memories to life.
